Plum RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A plum RDA from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum RDA really costs in Nouméa
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.74 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.74 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
