Plum refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plum habit
A plum refill pack from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Plum refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is plum legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
