Salted squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Salted in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What salted costs in Nouméa
Salted in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.29 per 10 ml.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does salted in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
