How to tell a good 100 ml bottle from a repack
Sour in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A sour 100 ml bottle from the budget options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.02 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at sour in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.02 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.02 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
