Sour prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Sour in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What sour costs in Nouméa
The honest read on sour: 11 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.78 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sour in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
