Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version

If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.48 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
