Tropical 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tropical in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
If you are looking at tropical in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A tropical 30 ml shortfill from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Tropical 30 ml shortfill reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.25 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does tropical in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
