Tropical mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tropical in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What tropical costs in Nouméa
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Tropical mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.42 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
