Vanilla sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested vanilla in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.16 per 10 ml.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
