Caramel 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: caramel in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a caramel 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
A caramel 60 ml bottle from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.22 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Is caramel legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
