Herbal RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist
Herbal in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a RDA for herbal
We run herbal the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Herbal RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: herbal in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal RDA really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested herbal in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.83 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for herbal in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does herbal in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
